He is survived by: his wife Marie Simonsen; his children, Bonny Lee Ames, Geoffrey Ames, Cindy-Lou Orshonsky, John Orshonsky and Peter Simonsen; his sisters, Ida Marie Ermann of Pinellas Park and Kirsten Thuen of Morris Plains, NJ; his grandchildren, Kathyrn, Alyssa, Kelly, Erik, Andrew and Derrick; and his great grandchild Sophia.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Per be made to Bethany Evangelical Free Church located at 30 Ashwood Terrrace, West Orange NJ.
