She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Harry Hammer and Mollie Sass; and her siblings, Arthur, Joseph and Sylvia Levine (Henry Willinger).

She is survived by: her children, Allan (Jo Schlesinger), Richard and Judy (Robert Luke); her grandson Alex; her nieces, Harriet Copel, Phyllis Newman, Joan Dreben and Dr. Adele Strominger; and her nephew Leonard Epstein.
