It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lajunta Hurt of Randolph, New Jersey, born in Plum Branch, South Carolina, who passed away on October 7, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Freeland and Hattie Freeland; and her sister Betty Jean Hill (Heyward Hurt). She is survived by: her brother Jimmy Freeland (Joyce Freeland); her sons, Bruce Hurt (Cheryl) and Wayne Hurt; her brother Tommy (Carolyn Freeland); and her grandchildren, Megan Brown (JB), Brandon Hurt, Bruce Hurt Jr. and McKenzie Hurt. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and numerous good friends.
