She was predeceased by: her parents, John O'Gara and Mary Clarke; her husband John James Nichols; her son John James Nichols (Jay); and her sisters, Eileen Hand and Joan Rooney.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Fasano, Robert Nichols and Alyson Attinello; her grandchildren, Janet Dugan, Jillian White, Ashley Attinello, Marc Attinello, Kaitlyn Attinello and Alex Nichols; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, David Jay and Keira. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
