He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Tansey and Maureen Tansey (Mullan). He is survived by: his wife Jeanne (Bahrenburg); and his sisters, Deb Zimmermann (Gary), Kathleen Tansey Garrett (Brian Hutton) and Joyce Williams (Jay). He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
