He was predeceased by: his mother Anne Rampone (Basenese); and his brother Paul Rampone Jr.. He is survived by: his father Paul Rampone; his wife Terry; his children, Joseph Jr., Megan (Brian), Shannon (Joseph), Michael, Patrick and Nicholas; and his grandchildren, Joey, Thomas, Erin, Aubrey and James.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to American Diabetes Association.
