In the sacred silence of farewell, John is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Klatte and Elizabeth Klatte (Betz); and his sons, Joseph Klatte and Thomas Klatte. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Klatte (Smith); his children, John D (Sandra Klatte), Mary (Robert Bauerlein), James (Diane Klatte) and Rita (Walt Roessler); and his daughter-in-law Gale Klatte. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Parish (4 Richards Ave, Dover, NJ 07801). A burial was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Locust Hill Cemetery (168 N Sussex St, Dover, NJ 07801).
