She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel E. Bates Sr. and Katheryn Bates; and her brothers, John, Donald, Charles, Raymond and William Bates.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Kish and Judy Vogel; and her sisters, Betty Haycock, Margaret Bostedo, Mauritta Estler, Patricia Thompson and Eileen Bates.
