It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James F. Gilmarten of Randolph, New Jersey, born in Brooklyn, New York, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Gilmartin and Elizabeth McDonald; and his brothers, Patrick "Buddy" Gilmartin and John Gilmartin. He is survived by: his wife Brigid Gilmartin (Farrell); his children, Paul Gilmartin (Sarah), Mary Lindquist (Steven) and Ann Kolenovic (Bobby); and his grandchildren, Nora, Clare Gilmartin, Anastasia, Joshua Lindquist, Robert, Justin and Claudia Carey.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the William J. Leber Funeral Home (15 Furnace Rd, Chester, NJ 07930). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery (85 Pleasant Hill Rd, Chester, NJ 07930).
