He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter E. Stewart and Nellie Kight Burgess Stewart; and his daughter Martha I. Stewart De-Leon. He is survived by: his wife Judith Z. Stewart; his daughter Katherine M. S. West (Roger); his son-in-law Gustavo O. "Tavo" De Leon, Jr.; his grandchildren, Alexander West (Emily Childs), Andrew West (Rachel) and Sarah Rebecca West; and his great grandchildren, Ronan West and Mia Sylvia West.
