He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Steinberger Elgarten; his parents, Henry Elgarten and Marie Elgarten; his children, Michael (Clarissa), Ken (Tricia) and Lisa Hofstetter (Fred); and his grandchildren, Paige Atwood (Grant Elgarten), Kyle, Jared, Colin (Brenden Elgarten), John and Rebecca (Robyn Hofstetter). He was also cherished by his children and grandchildren.
