She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Peterson, Jr.; and her sister Virginia Mackerley. She is survived by: her sons, Carl Peterson III of Bethesda, MD and Rex Peterson (Peggy) of Hopatcong; her grandchildren, Rex Jr. and Teah; and her brothers, George Dowdell of Savannah, TN and Edward Dowdell (Patricia) of Belvidere.
