After retirement from active practice Felix continued volunteer work as the Medical Director of the Morris County Medical Reserve Corps, member of the Bioterrorism Task Force and Disaster/Pandemic Ethics Boards.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory to Morristown Medical Center, Morristown, NJ would be appreciated.
