He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Theodore and Patricia Smith. He is survived by: his wife Helen Smith; his children, Douglas Smith and Kaitlyn Smith; his grandchildren, Harper, Hailey and Brielle; and his sisters, Suzanne and Holly Jamros (Joe).
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
