He was predeceased by: his son Donald Muniz, Jr.; and his brother Richard Muniz. He is survived by: his wife Aida Muniz; his children, Scott Muniz, Edwin Roa, Steven Andrade, Allison Andrade, Gina Colon, Jeffrey Colon, Rosemary Pepe, Michael Pepe, Mia Stern and Howie Stern; his grandchildren, David Pereira, Traci Pereira, Joseph Capitummino, Maria Capitummino, Matthew Capitummino, Amanda Capitummino, Julia Pepe, Isabella Pepe, Paxton Andrade, Gillian Muniz, Benjamin Muniz, Layla Muniz and Dylan Stern; and his great grandchild Emma Capitummino. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
