He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Acevedo and Barbara Acevedo; and his grandson Anthony J Chaparro. He is survived by: his children, Jose Acevedo (Robert), Celia Chaparro (Didy), Amy Acevedo (Malena) and Sarita Echevarria. He is also survived by his 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 2 sisters, 2 brothers.

Family requires wearing masks at the funeral home and at the church.
