He was also cherished by his five grandchildren.

“For many years Arthur Lonergan served as Chief Administrator for the Con Edison Law Department, wielding considerable authority and discretion among a 120 person group of sometimes very strong-willed individuals. Arthur had the knack of being able to quickly differentiate between the important and the unimportant. He was efficient, to-the-point, fair and impartial, but most significantly at this time to be remembered as respected and admired by all who knew him. Condolences to his family.”
