He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William Schawe Jr. and Jean Mary Kotlowski. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Schawe (Duhig); his daughter Samantha Jean Schawe; and his sisters, Robin McGeehan (Schawe) and Pamela Klym (Schawe). He is also survived by 4 nieces and 2 nephews.
