He is survived by: his spouse Claire Speer; his children, John Speer (Jean) of Ringwood, Christine Maltese (late Albert) of Garfield, Catherine Speer of Lodi, Jessica Speer of Lodi and Mandy Rendon (Bryan) of Ramsey; his grandchildren, John Luke, Julianne, Brian, Nina, Daniel and Alex; and his siblings, Michael Speer and Dorothy Stamm.
