William Guskind wrote a sympathy message

“Mr. Schuck might not have remembered me out of the thousands of students he taught over the decades, but I will never forget him. He taught me how to play clarinet when I was 11 and it was with his steady hand and guidance that I grew to love playing my instrument, both in private and in concert band. He taught my sister to play the flute at an even younger age and she excelled at it as well. He may be gone now, but his positive impact in the Hillsdale Schools will live on forever.”

Angela Iskenderian wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to hear of the passing of our dear Mr. Schuck. He served the Hillsdale School Community for many years and was instrumental in introducing our young musicians at Smith to their very first musical instrument lessons! Mr. Schuck and I often chatted after school about his friendship with Ann Blanche Smith, the former principal of our school. Rest in Peace. Henry! I am sure that you are enjoying making beautiful music in heaven! Blessings, Angela Iskenderian”

Gladys Shefchik wrote a sympathy message

“Please accept my most heartfelt sympathies for your loss. Henry was a beloved friend and colleague at George White school. He was not only a music teacher, but had a passion for paleontology and science. He brought me many of his rock and fossil collections as well as plants and seeds for my classroom. I still smile every year and think of his kind and generous spirit as I plant the dahlia bulbs he gave me. Rest in peace Henry, your memory lives on.”

Renee Shalhoub wrote a sympathy message

“My prayers and sympathy to the family of Henry Schuck, who was my friend and colleague for many years. Henry was a devoted teacher and supporter of the arts. His legacy lives on in the hundreds of children whose lives he touched during the years. I knew Henry as a wonderfully gifted, kind, patient and thoughtful teacher and friend. He was a musical force in the George White School for so many years and lives on in the music of so many people who continue their songs.”

June Dano wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to hear this sad news. My deepest condolences to Henry's family. I taught at Meadowbrook School in Hillsdale. Henry taught instrument lessons to many of my fourth grade students. I remember his patience and humbleness and deep appreciation for our support of his program. There are many hillsdale children and now adults who still tap time with their feet the way he taught them who were lucky enough to have learned the many instruments that Henry taught. His legacy.”
