It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederick W Young of Ramsey, New Jersey, born in Queens, New York, who passed away on October 30, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary (Farrell); and his sisters, Stacey Newman and Gloria Smith. He is survived by: his children, Fred (Anne), Tom (MaryBeth), Deirdre Nemeth (Nick), Steve (Kathy), Maria Gaffney (Mike), John, Ed (Chris), Dan (Cyndi) and Mike (Bernadette). He is also survived by 35 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home (257 Godwin Ave, Wyckoff, NJ 07481). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul RC Church (200 Wyckoff Ave, Ramsey, NJ 07446).
