He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Larrat and Marguerite Rapillard; and his wife Carol Penson Larrat. He is survived by: his children, Paul Larrat (Amey) of Saunderstown, RI, Meg Minassian (Don) of Mahwah, NJ, Aimee Hein (Ron) of Tranquility, NJ and Ed Larrat (Marci) of Tooele, Utah.; his grandchildren, Kenny Minassian (Grace), Danny Minassian, Meghan Larrat (Matt), Kevin Minassian (Julienne), Eric Larrat, Rebecca Carvalho (Derek), Kati Hein, Jackson and Bronson Larrat; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella, Carson and Owen.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hope for Children Research Foundation, 700D Lake Street, Ramsey, NJ 07446, a charity near and dear to Ernie's heart which supports children's neurological and cancer research.
