He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pierce and Catherine Pierce; his wife Eileen A Pierce; and his sister Claire Cole. He is survived by: his children, Russell Pierce (Ann) of Chatham, Michael Pierce (Rosemary) of Flemington and Lorin DeMase (Christopher) of Mahwah; his brother-in-law Howard Cole of Charlotte, NC; and his grandsons, Brendan, Austin and Colin. He is also survived by his three grandsons.
