He is survived by: his wife Arline G. Bergemann; his parents-in-law, Walter and Gertrude Stegen; his children, Glenn (Carol) of Mahwah, P. J. Pitonyak (Rick) of Brandywine, Maryland and Meg Natale (Mike) of Hawthorne; his sister Ruth Heil (Henry) of Greenville, Pennsylvania; and his siblings-in-law, Marie Bergemann of Syracuse, Barbara and David Shear of Alexandria, Virginia..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Charlie's memory to the Ramsey Ambulance Corps or Ramsey Rescue Squad.
