He was predeceased by: his parents, Karl Kjellberg and Mary McGlinchey; and his brother Henry. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Carl, Jr., Karen-Ann and Erik; his children-in-law, Jody, Kurt and William; his grandchildren, Christopher, Carl, Katherine, Karli and Kellyn; and his great grandchild Theodore.
