He was predeceased by: his wife Eva; his son Timothy; and his brother David (Leona Malmberg). He is survived by: his daughter Tina Lanning (Thomas); his grandsons, Timothy Hare (Dawn) and Thomas Matson Lanning; and his nieces, Lynda Wiley (Al) and Lora Winchell (Don).
