He was predeceased by: his parents, William M. McCarthy Sr. and Hellen McCarthy (Sidunetz); his in-laws, Arthur Goins and Sylvia Goins (Kuznitz); and his close friends, Hans "Chip" Christiansen, Martin "Marty" Cassio and Jeff Monday.
He is survived by: his wife Susan McCarthy (Goins); and his friend Thomas Hintenach.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the American Legion Post 5 (581 Maple Ave, Rahway, NJ 07065).
