He is survived by: his wife Nadine Copeland; his daughter Nicole Freeman; his stepson Ray Nichols (Terrine); his grandchildren, Nyasia Nichols, Destiny Nichols, Trenity Nichols, Rayven Nichols, Teyana Langston, Trayvon Langston and Tyrell Langston; and his siblings-in-law, Lawrence Cobb (Siddeequah), Jamil Taylor (Diane), Bishop Willie Monroe (Renee), Malton Monroe (Barbara), Scottie Monroe (Cynthia), James Monroe (Janie), Eugene Monroe (Nureya), Jonathan Lindsey, Stephon Monroe (Tara), Jessie Roach, Tamika Cobb, Cynthia Maria Graves, Tina Lindsey, Amanda Lindsey, Brenda Freeman and Von Monroe.
