She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Curry and Alice Curry; and her siblings, Shirley Watson and Bobby Curry. She is survived by: her daughter Helen Denise Curry; her grandchildren, Shawn Jones (Dara), Stephanie Jones and Shannon Jones; her great grandchildren, Sean Jones and Shakera Jones; her nieces and nephews, Terek Watson, Todd Watson (Aprica), Rashon Watson, Matthew Rock, Deneen Rock and Salome Rock; her daughters, Linda Alston and Misha Jerman (Rick); and her grandchildren, Devon and Kayla. She is also survived by great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
Not only before, but during the pandemic, many would bake for her, answer her letters, and even expressed deep sadness when hearing about her illness.
