He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo John Uebelein and Claire LeRoux; and his parents-in-law, Joseph and Rita Castiglione. He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his sons, Leo (Sarah) and Erik (Jasmine); his grandsons, Maksym and Erik; his brother Theodore O'Connell; and his siblings-in-law, Philip Castiglione (Barbara) of Toms River and Rita McCaig (Douglas) of Springfield. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lehrer-Gibilisco Funeral Home (275 W Milton Ave, Rahway, NJ 07065). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Apostle Church (1 Ridgeview Terrace, Clark, NJ 07066).
