It is with great sadness that we announce the death of CarolAnn Merlo of Rahway, New Jersey, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of CarolAnn Merlo to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olga Simonelli and Ralph Simonelli; her sister Eileen Ball; her brother-in-law Robert Merlo; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Merlo.
She is survived by: her husband George Merlo; her sons, Brian Merlo, Scott Merlo and Anthony Merlo (Leanne); her grandchildren, Catharine Merlo and Anthony J. Merlo; her brother Michael Simonelli (MaryAnn); and her nieces and nephews, Michael Simonelli (Marlaina), Daniel Simonelli (Michele Nudelman), Melissa Christensen (Wade), Isabella Rose Simonelli, Russell Wade Christensen and Nova Lucia Simonelli. She is also survived by her parents, and their parents, and would remark that she and George had done well in passing those on to their children, to their grandchildren, and to their nieces and nephews.
