He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Ryan and Catherine Ryan (Nee Hauser); and his sister Rose Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Ryan (Nee Gareis); his children, Joy Stavitsky of Avenel and Tony Ryan of Rahway; his grandchildren, Anthony III, Justin and Theresa; and his great grandchildren, Ian, Patrick and Shirley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
