We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Howard I Valentine of Quinton, New Jersey, born in Bridgeton, New Jersey. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Alice Valentine and Elmer Walter Adams. He is survived by: his brother Elmer Walter Valentine; his nieces and nephews, Elmer Walter Valentine II (Lauren) and LaShelle Valentine (Sean); and his great-nephews, Joseph, Gavin, Quinton and Julian. He is also survived by cousins, friends.
He served as Chair of the Mathematics Department from 2001 to 2004, and his contributions to the reform of developmental education at SCC are still felt today.
