He is survived by: his son Ethan Carlson; his wife Ellen Hoenig-Carlson; his sons, Asher (Ryan) and Zane (Kylee); and his siblings, Susan (Joe) and Richard (Jennifer). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Wayne's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Tunnel to Towers, two organizations Wayne strongly believed in.
