Sotirios Vahaviolos Obituary
With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sotirios Vahaviolos of Princeton, New Jersey, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sotirios left this world on February 6, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ioannis Vahaviolos and Athanasia Vahaviolos; and his brother Apostolis Vahaviolos. He is survived by: his wife Aspasia Felice Vahaviolos (Nessas); his daughters, Athanasia Tia Vahaviolos (Nikolaos Koufakis), Stephanie Vahaviolos Foglia (Michael) and Kristy Vahaviolos Kyriakopoulos (Georgios); his nephew Dimitri Nessas; his sister Stavroula Xenofanes; and his grandchildren, Alexander, Maya, Alana, Melina, Peter, Nicholas Sotirios and Georgios Panagiotis. He is also survived by his daughters and nephew grow, gaining sons-in-law, and becoming a grandfather.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (1200 Klockner Rd, Hamilton Township, NJ 08619). A committal service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Princeton Cemetery (29 Greenview Ave, Princeton, NJ 08540). A burial was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at the same location.
