She was predeceased by: her parents, Mabel Tynan Pitcher (Swisher) and Ralph Morgan Pitcher; her husband William Sword; her son William Sword, Jr.; and her sister Mary Pitcher Stewart.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Morgan Sword (Elizabeth) of Jackson, Wyo, Molly Sword McDonough (Peter) of Pennington, N. J. and Sarah Sword Lazarus (Ken) of Concord, Mass.; her grandchildren, Gretchen Liddell Sword, Richard Morgan Sword, Jr. (Lindsay), Hope Tynan Sword, Bayless Hauge Sword (Andrew Byron), Sarah Pitcher McKani (Kunal), Elizabeth Payson Houfek (Nicholas), William Sullivan Sword (Anne Sekley), Thomas Mangan McDonough (Theresa LaColla), Samuel Skinner Lazarus and Molly Fradin Lazarus; and also Martha Sullivan Sword of Skillman, N. J.. She is also survived by four children, 10 grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Nassau Presbyterian Church (61 Nassau St, Princeton, NJ 08542).
