He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Clausen and Anna Clausen (Benson); his siblings, George (Elizabeth Clausen), Robert (Eleanor Clausen) and Anita; his brother-in-law Ted McKeel; and his daughter-in-law Patricia Clausen.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine W. Clausen (Wagner); his sons, John H. Clausen Jr. and Larry (Cindy Clausen); his grandchildren, Chrissy (Tim Register), Debbie (Jeff Galant), Meghan (Tim VanNostrand), Caitlyn Clausen (Brett Butler) and John H. Clausen III (Natalie Turner); and his great grandchildren, Maya Register, Emma Register, Colton VanNostrand, Hailey VanNorstrand, Jade Butler, Brayden Galant and Benjamin Galant.
