He was predeceased by: his wife Anita Croce; his parents, Chester Croce and Ermida Croce (DiPietro); and his in-laws, Thomasine Catena (Dominick), Carolyn Melfi (Michael), Mary Benedetto (Nick) and Vincent Gill (Helen).
He is survived by: his children, Cynthia Smith (Russell), Sandra Warner (Michael) and Chester Croce III; his grandchildren, Alycia Baker (Andrew), Lindsey McCaw (Matthew), April Wolverton (Spencer), Nolan Croce (Leah), Alia and Chester Conner Croce IV; his great grandchildren, Judah Baker, Hadassah Baker and Remington McCaw; his stepgrandsons, Jeffrey Smith (Kari) and Christopher Smith (Ronda); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler Smith (Shruthi), Abigail Smith, Lydia Smith and Canaan Smith (Melissa); and his siblings, Robert Croce (Alice), William Croce (Marilyn) and Bonita Spiers (Edward). He is also survived by many other cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John Quint Treboni Funeral Home (1177 W 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43212). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. James the Less Church (1652 Oakland Park Ave, Columbus, OH 43224).
