The memory of Alan Rauch of Princeton, New Jersey, who passed away on March 1, 2025 at the age of 70, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julius Rauch and Grace Esther Rauch (Katz); and his brother-in-law Mark Sonnenshein. He is survived by: his wife Julie Bien Rauch; his children, Rebecca Rauch Hart (Benjamin Hart), Benjamin Rauch (Melissa Rauch) and Sarah Rauch; his grandchildren, Hannah Hart, Emily Hart and Neil Rauch; his siblings, Linda Sonnenshein and David Rauch (Evelyn Rauch); his brothers-in-law, Jeffrey Bien (Heather), Joseph Bien (Juel), David Bien (Maggie) and Andrew Bien (Betty); and his friends, Michael Mann, George Lane and Robert Twomey. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as a vast number of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home (40 Vandeventer Ave, Princeton, NJ 08542). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Nassau Inn (10 Palmer Sq E, Princeton, NJ 08542).
