She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Harold and Miriam Dorothy Carlson (Dahlstrom). She is survived by: her husband Richard Erving; her children, Melynda Jean Machol (Stephen Ullery), Karen Machol Piraino (James Vincent), Richard John Machol, Kelley Elizabeth Figueroa (John) and Kathleen Beth Posk; her grandchildren, David, John Michael, Christopher, Kathryn, Veronica, Alexa, Christian, Eva, Faith and Olivia; and her siblings, Elizabeth Joy Jones and Edwin Carlson.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org.
