He was predeceased by: his parents, Lieutenant Frank Bird and Marie Bird (Brophy). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jean Bird (Randall); his daughter Tracy Stefanelli-Klurman; his son-in-law Marc; his son James Bird II; his daughter-in-law Lauren; his grandchildren, Garrett Klurman, Brooke Klurman, Taylor Bird, Leah Klurman and James Bird III; his sister Mary Lou; his niece Annie; and his pets, Ember and Teddy.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mather-Hodge Funeral Home (40 Vandeventer Ave, Princeton, NJ 08542).
