He was predeceased by: his parents, Marie O'Brien and Edward L. O'Brien; and his close friend Valerie Muenzel. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda O'Brien and Tara Timblin; and his granddaughters, Kaitlyn Timblin and Emma Timblin. He is also survived by his extended family and dear friends.
