He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Gatton and Allen Gatton; and his siblings, Nita Brown, Elsie Barfoot, John and Bob Gatton.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Gatton; his daughters, Melissa Leding (Will) and Danielle Walker (Roger); his grandchildren, Sean Hotlen and Shannon Hotlen (Charles); and his son-in-law Ryan Hotlen. He is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bill's memory to the Port Republic Fire Department.
