She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Ortiz (Torres) and Cruz Ortiz; and her siblings, Margie Ortiz, Benjamin and Abel Ortiz.
She is survived by: her children, Alma Diaz and Angel Ruiz; and her siblings, Christina Ortiz, Josephine Bermudez, Inez Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz and Thomas Torres. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren.
