It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard J. Fitzpatrick of Port Reading, New Jersey, born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, who passed away on April 18, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter JoAnn Moran; his parents, James Fitzpatrick and Martha Fitzpatrick; his granddaughter Nicole Rista Fitzpatrick; his great grandchild Elizabeth Runkel; and his sisters, Eileen and Kathy Fitzpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Fitzpatrick (Megyesi); his children, James Fitzpatrick, Annmarie Orlowski (Robert), Richard S. Fitzpatrick (Cindy) and Michelle Pinter Johnson; his grandchildren, Sara, Brianna Fitzpatrick, Erica, Matthew Moran, Ashley, Brandon Orlowski, Andrew, Adam Sterner, Melanie Rista and Laura Fitzpatrick; his great grandchildren, Anthony Moran and Charlotte Runkel; and his brother Robert Fitzpatrick (Phyllis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and family members.
