She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandfather Magic Meatball Soup; her father Angelo Pietropaolo; her husband Johannes Rustemeyer; her siblings, Mary (Dwight) and Anthony; her sister-in-law Mary; her brother Benjamin; her sister-in-law Inge; her brother Michael; her sister-in-law Stephanie; her brother Gerard (Jerry); her daughter Ann Marie Wood; her daughters-in-law, Denise Rustemeyer and Lisa Rustemeyer; her nephew John Pietropaolo; her niece Gina Mecca; her children, James, John, Michael, Rachel and Joann; her brothers, John (Madeline) and Carmine; her sister-in-law Gail; and her grandchildren, Holly, Rose, Richard Wood, Melissa, Sara and Deanna Rustemeyer. She was also cherished by many extended family members, former students and friends.
Rachel valiantly and bravely battled Covid-19, but ultimately succumbed to the vicious virus.
