She was predeceased by: her spouse Robert H. Gross; her siblings, James Beachaump, Noah Beachaump, Hattie Beachaump, Catherine Johnson and Nelia Smith; her daughters, Sharon Elaine Gross and Valerie Gross; and her daughter-in-law Evelyn Gross.
She is survived by: her child Lorraine Smith; her sister-in-law Maggie Beachaump; and her brother Milton Beachaump. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
