He is survived by : his wife Karen; his sister Carolyn Melhorn; his siblings-in-law, Richard Melhorn and Mildred; his nieces, Dawn, Melanie, Jamie and Patricia; his nephew Daniel; his great-nephew Zachery; his siblings-in-law, June Aiello, Dorothy Schell, Thomas Aello and Steven Schell; his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Kristen, Alana (Brandon), Jason and Tom; his great-niece Amelia; and his pet Ruby.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the Monmouth County ASPCA, or the American Diabetes Association.
