He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Laverty (Dennehy) and John Laverty; his wife Anna Laverty (Santiago); and his sister Rosie Laverty. He is survived by: his daughters, Deena Castineira (Frank) of Port Monmouth, Theresa Horn (Paul) of Old Town and Geri Laverty of St. Petersburg; his siblings, John Laverty (Carol) of Danbury and Paddy Laverty (Debbie) of Brick; and his grandson Liam Bozarth.
