It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Theresa Maher of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, born in New York, New York, who passed away on September 26, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Maher (NJ); her sister Martha Harris; her parents, Edmund O'Connell and Dorothy O'Connell; and her siblings-in-law, Nicholas Peragine, Thomas Grogan and Kathleen O'Connell.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Maher, Timothy Maher (Liz) and Tammy Ragusa (Frank); her grandsons, Timothy Maher, Tyler Maher and Markus Ragusa; and her siblings, Edmund O'Connell, Patricia Peragine and Joyce Grogan. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel (115 Tindall Rd, Middletown Township, NJ 07748). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Church of Saint Catherine Laboure (110 Bray Ave, Middletown Township, NJ 07748).
